Subject: NIDHI COMPANIES
The Government has amended the Companies (Incorporation) Rules,2014 on 8th April 2022 to provide that “Nidhis” cannot commence business unless they are declared as such and the declaration should be submitted at the stage of incorporation by the company. Hence, first the declaration should be obtained before filing papers for incorporation of any company to operate as a Nidhi. Form NDH-4 is the prescribed form for making an application for declaration as Nidhi.
