Managerial Remuneration – Liberalised Regime brought by The Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017

Companies Amendment Act, 2017 has relaxed the provisions relating to payment of managerial remuneration, done away with the requirement for seeking Central Government approval and recognized the need for companies generating adequate profits to have liberty to pay remuneration to managerial persons, subject only to getting approvals from the members of the company in case of exceeding the prescribed limits.
